Billing, subscriptions, privacy, and how the coach actually works.

How do I subscribe to Coach or Pro?
Open Zabeau, go to the paywall (tap any Coach-only feature, or open Account & privacy → Subscription), and choose Coach or Pro. Payment is handled securely through your Apple ID — you’ll confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple password. The free tracker stays free forever, so you only upgrade when you want the AI coach.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through Apple, so you manage them in iOS Settings — not inside Zabeau. On your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, tap Zabeau, then change tier or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep coach access until the period you’ve already paid for ends. After that you drop back to the free tracker and all your history stays read-only intact.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in to Zabeau with the same Apple ID you subscribed with, then open Account & privacy → Subscription and tap Restore purchases. Your Coach or Pro entitlement will re-sync from the App Store. If it doesn’t appear, make sure you’re signed into the right Apple ID and email support@zabeau.app.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account entirely from inside the app — no email required. Open Settings & privacy → Delete account and confirm. This permanently removes your Zabeau data. (Your Apple subscription is separate — cancel it in iOS Settings → Subscriptions so it doesn’t renew.) Prefer email? Reach us at privacy@zabeau.app.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Your food, training, weight, and body data stay yours — you can export or delete them anytime. Crash and diagnostic reports are scrubbed of health data before they ever leave your phone, so none of it ends up in our logs. We also surface region-aware eating-disorder and crisis resources and build in guardrails against under-eating. See our Privacy page for the full detail.
Which devices does Zabeau support?
Zabeau is on iOS, available on the App Store. Android is coming soon. You can sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google. The full tracker works fully offline, so you can log food and workouts even with no signal — it syncs when you’re back online.
How does the AI coach work?
The Coach is a grounded dietician and copilot built on advanced AI. It reads your real numbers — what you’ve logged, your weight trend, your routine — and proposes specific plan changes you can Apply with one tap. It can nudge you, log on your behalf, and write you a weekly review. It’s specific and encouraging, never shaming, with safety guardrails baked in. The coach is part of the Coach and Pro tiers.
